The FUT, through the IAO, is developing several
activities of cooperation with other Universities, stimulating in this
way, the research and the internationalization of the University.
Among these activities, we can mention the establishment of
agreements with several institutions. These convenants propose a
partnership with the aim to promote scientific, research and cultural
interchanges between students and professors of the participant
Universities.
Currently, the FUT is developing the following activities: Portugal The University of Aveiro:

Visit of the FUT's Director of International Affairs to the University of Aveiro (april/2004);

Reception
of a group of four professors from the University of Aveiro in the FUT
, with the aim to establish new agreements with our University
(june/2004);

Signature
of a convenant with the FUT, to develop activities of scientific,
research and cultural interchanges, involving students and professors
of both Universities;

Reception
of five undergraduate students from the University of Aveiro, from the
Biological Sciences Field, to attend one year of interchange in the FUT
(august/2004).
The University of Minho:
-
Visit of the FUT's Director of International Affairs to the University of Minho (april/2004);

The
Univesity of Minho is waiting for the visit of the Magnificent Rector
of the FUT, to sign the convenant between both Universities;
-
Reception
of four undergraduate students from the University of Minho, from the
Biological Sciences Field, to attend one semester of interchange in the
FUT (september/2004).
The Portuguese Catholic University:

Visit of the FUT's Director of International Affairs to the Portuguese Catholic University (april/2004);
-
Reception
of a doctorate student from the Biological Sciences Field from the
Portuguese Catholic University to follow the Quelônio's Project,
developed bythe IBAMA and by the Research Projects in Quelônios from
the FUT (august/2004).
Italy The University of Catania:

Signature
of a convenant with the FUT, to develop activities of scientific,
research and cultural interchanges, involving students and professors
of both Universities.
The University of Rome La Sapienza:

The
FUT will sign a bilateral convenant of cooperation with the University
of Rome La Sapienza, through its Department of History-Religious
Studies and our Nucleus of Studies and Aboriginal Affairs, in the
fields of History and Anthropology.
The University of Siena:

The
FUT will sign a bilateral convenant of cooperation with the University
of Siena, through its Center Inter Department of Studies about
Aboriginal America and our Nucleus of Studies and Aboriginal Affairs,
in the fields of Applied Linguistics and General Linguistics.
Mexico The National School of Anthropology and History:
The FUT will sign a bilateral convenant of cooperation with the National School of Anthropology and History of Mexico.
